Black Fire Brigade’s Basic Certificate in Construction is designed to prepare students for entry-level apprenticeship opportunities within the construction industry. This comprehensive program equips participants with the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to begin a successful career in construction.
Students receive hands-on instruction in essential areas, including proper tool usage and safety, construction materials and methods, workplace and job site safety standards, blueprint reading, and construction-related mathematics. Through a combination of classroom learning and practical training, participants develop the confidence, technical skills, and industry awareness required to work effectively on professional construction sites.
